Problem: Windows explorer was trying to mount these and map them, but timed out a dozen times or so, ending in amalfunctioningexplorer. check my blog With the VGA cable plugged in I see the computer counting and checking my memory. Microsoft spent 3 hours trying to solve the problem and finally told me it was a driver problem with WD USB drives. Is this the same issue? Start up your computer, and while the computer is still black and it shows you all of those numbers and stuff, press F8. If you have recently done so > or ran the MS updates to do so, try a rollback via the Device Manager.
